Y-Logimed introduces the OPTIS™ ULTREON™ 2.0 system at HYGEIA Hospital – Enhancing intracoronary imaging with Artificial Intelligence
Y-Logimed introduces for the first time in the Greek market the innovative Optical Coherence Tomography system OPTIS™ with ULTREON™ 2.0 Artificial Intelligence software by Abbott Medical, marking a new era in intracoronary imaging and interventional cardiology.
With a strong commitment to introducing advanced medical technology solutions to the Greek market, Y-Logimed is making available in Greece the OPTIS™ ULTREON™ 2.0 Software (AI) platform, a pioneering Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) technology equipped with Artificial Intelligence software to guide percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), particularly in complex lesions in interventional cardiology.
The Optical Coherence Tomography system (OCT) by Abbott Medical is already used in international markets, offering high-precision intracoronary imaging, advanced data analysis and functional indicators that support clinical decision-making and the optimization of interventional outcomes.
A significant milestone is the installation of the system in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory of HYGEIA Hospital, enhancing the capabilities for the diagnosis and treatment of complex and high-risk cardiovascular diseases.
The application of OCT intracoronary imaging in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory of HYGEIA provides the clinical team with advanced capabilities for assessment and guidance during complex coronary interventions, contributing to enhanced diagnostic accuracy, therapeutic decision-making and overall care for patients with cardiovascular diseases, while supporting long-term safe clinical outcomes.
Mr. Spyridon Mavrantοnis, Chief Executive Officer of Y-Logimed, stated: “The introduction of the OPTIS™ ULTREON™ 2.0 system in the Greek market represents an important advancement in the capabilities of interventional cardiology in our country. At Y-Logimed, we continuously invest in the introduction and utilization of innovative technologies by specialized clinical teams, contributing to the creation of new prospects for more accurate diagnosis, more targeted therapeutic interventions and enhanced care for patients with cardiovascular diseases.”
