Y-Logimed, official distributor of Abbott Medical, continues to support the introduction of innovative medical technologies in Greece, announcing the launch of Abbott Medical’s “Pullback Pressure Gradient – PPG” software upgrade for the Coroventis CoroFlow systems.

The first installation of the upgrade, as well as the first cases using the new Pullback Pressure Gradient measurement functionality, were successfully performed in Greece in June 2026.

PPG measurement enables cardiologists to differentiate between focal and diffuse coronary artery disease during fractional flow reserve (FFR) assessment. It is available in FFR mode and is included in the CoroFlow‡ v3.7 system software, measured by performing a wire pullback procedure.

This functionality helps physicians predict the magnitude of blood flow improvement following a potential intervention, assess advanced coronary physiology in a modern and evidence-based way, and, critically, differentiate between focal and diffuse coronary artery disease before making any revascularization decision.
