Procurement & Logistics Supervisor  

Based in Cyprus (Nicosia)

Job Overview

We provide purchasing, procurement, and logistics services to the HHG hospitals for medical consumables and devices. We are now seeking a Procurement & Logistics Supervisor to join our subsidiary company recently opened in Nicosia Cyprus. We offer an attractive remuneration package commensurate with each candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Position Objective

Ensure continuous cost savings, improve service efficiency, and reduce operational risk.   

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare annual procurement plans/budget to serve the needs of our Cyprus Hospitals.
• Perform continuous market research in the domestic market, identify and evaluate suppliers.
• Issue RFQ and evaluate vendor quotations based on pricing, products quality, and delivery consistency.
• Monitor product certifications according to local and European law requirements (MDR)
• Negotiate effectively with local suppliers, proposals, and contracts.
• Take proactive actions to secure cost containment and products availability.
• Set and control stock levels, reordering points, in collaboration with Y-LOGIMED Logistics Manager
• Monitor daily the Logistics & Distribution Operations
• Guide, motivate, actively support and evaluate the company’s employees to ensure optimal performance
• Report to Y-LOGIMED Management.

Skills and Expertise 

We are looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

• University Degree
• At least 3 year experience in a Procurement & Logistics supervising position
• Good  knowledge of the medical consumables/devices market will be considered as an asset
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Leadership and problem-solving skills
• Very Good working knowledge of the English language
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, advanced in EXCEL, ERP and WMS systems
